Since 1969, West & Callahan has been dedicated to creating dream homes along the beautiful Eastern Shores of Maryland. With decades of experience, we specialize in custom home design and construction, blending craftsmanship, innovation, and the natural beauty of our surroundings. Our mission is to bring your vision to life, ensuring your home is a place of comfort, beauty, and lasting value.

Our Legacy

For three generations, our family-owned business has been a trusted name in homebuilding on the Eastern Shore. We pride ourselves on crafting homes that stand the test of time and reflect the unique charm of our community.

Founded in 1969 by “Pee Wee” West and Charlie Callahan, Jr., the company initially focused on residential construction, renovations, and kitchen and bath remodels. Chuck Callahan joined in the early 1980s, and by then, the company was building a home every two to three months across Talbot County and the Eastern Shore.

In 1999, Mr. West retired, and in 2005, we expanded with Eastern Millwork, Inc., our onsite custom mill shop specializing in kitchen and bath design. Chuck’s son, Clark Callahan, joined the company in 2015, continuing the family legacy.
 
Today, Chuck and Clark oversee both West & Callahan, Inc. and Eastern Millwork, Inc., supported by a dedicated team of 15 employees.
